Can God really see beyond a person's failures? Every believer occasionally struggles with doubt over their salvation. These feelings are more than discouraging; they underestimate Christ's complete sacrifice for sin. To fight the unrelenting guilt, believers need to meditate on every facet of Jesus's atonement. Clearly defining penal substitution, our guest will join us to explain twelve things God does with believers' sin--including forgiving it, passing over it, and trampling it underfoot--as well as three things God never does, such as counting sins against believers. Contrasting a Christian's "eternal union" with God, which is certain, with "experiential communion," which can be disrupted by sin, this powerful pastor will help us find the freedom to love and serve God with a purified conscience.

As Christians, we play into the hand of Satan and his demonic host when we approach demonic warfare as a theoretical game or curiosity rather than a life-threatening conspiracy from the pit of hell. While we try to see how "normal" we can still appear to other Christians and our non-Christian colleagues and neighbors, demonic accusers relentlessly and ruthlessly plot our distraction and destruction. Join us to learn the how to's" for recognizing and resolving attacks from the world, the flesh and the devil.

Dr. Sam Storms
Dr. Sam Storms (PhD, University of Texas at Dallas) is the founder of Enjoying God Ministries. He has spent more than four decades in ministry as a pastor, professor, and author. He was previously a visiting associate professor of theology at Wheaton College from 2000 to 2004.
Dr. Karl Payne
Dr. Karl Payne is a pastor, teacher, speaker, author and former NFL chaplain. He is currently on staff at Antioch Bible Church of Redmond, WA. where his primary role is serving as the Pastor of Leadership Development and Discipleship Training. He served as the chaplain for the Seattle Seahawks football team from 1994-2015. Dr. Payne is the author of the 3 books discipleship series Transferable Cross Training Volumes 1-3. He co-authored A Just Defense (1987) and Cross Training (1993). He also contributed to two reference books, The Encyclopedia of Biblical Christian Ethics and The Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics. His own book, Spiritual Warfare: Christians, Demonization and Deliverance (2011) continues to be a popular reference of the topic of spiritual warfare.
