Hour 2: Telos
Life and death have purpose, and we belong to all of it, which the ancient Greeks understood as Telos, meaning "the end as it was intended." Our guest, an award-winning cancer specialist, will join us to recount his impassioned search to discover humanity’s true origin and purpose. Not only will he address in plain, straightforward language how modern science points inextricably to God’s hand on earth, but he will also review the history of western science and philosophy, challenge misguided theories from academic titans such as Aristotle, Newton, and Darwin, addresses complex questions regarding the human soul, and equips the nonscientist with a confident understanding of how science validates faith.

Tim Winter
With more than 30 years in broadcasting, cable, internet and new media technologies, along with a law degree, Tim Winter brings a wealth of experience to his position as president of the Parents Television Council. The PTC is a non-partisan education organization advocating responsible entertainment. Mr. Winter spent 15 years with the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) serving in numerous management capacities for the GE-owned media conglomerate in Los Angeles, New York and Europe. His work experience included network broadcast operations; program production; international and domestic cable; digital media; and the owned-and-operated television station, KNBC. He also participated in the creation of MSNBC, the cable and online news joint venture with Microsoft Corporation.
Ryan Bomberger
Ryan Bomberger is an Emmy Award-winning Creative Professional who founded The Radiance Foundation along with his wife, Bethany. He is a broadcast media designer, producer, columnist, passionate factivist, international public speaker and author of the powerful book, Not Equal: Civil Rights Gone Wrong. He was the creative force behind the first ad campaign to expose abortion’s hugely disproportionate impact in the black community. The bold TooManyAborted.com billboards/web campaigns made an unexpected impact in the pro-life movement.
Dr Stephen J. Iacoboni, MD
Dr. Iacoboni is the author of TELOS: The Scientific Basis for a Life of Purpose and is the founder of four cancer centers in the Pacific Northwest during his 40 year career. Dr. Iacoboni, who once believed the atheism that he was taught in medical school, is now a Christian. Because he discovered that a true understanding of science points directly to God's intelligent design. TELOS illustrates the errors and lies promoted by atheist scientists, and teaches the reader how to use science to understand God's design, rather than to falsely deny it. If pastors, teachers and Christians are going to share the truth of God, faith and the purpose of life, they should understand the science that supports these beliefs. They must know the falsehoods promoted by atheist scientists that attempt to turn us away from God
