The healthy Christian life is one of continuing spiritual, emotional, and relational growth. But so many of us feel stuck or stagnated at one stage of the journey. It's not always clear to us where or why we are stuck, making it difficult to take the next step on our journey of the soul. That's where our guests come in. After decades in private practice as counselors and therapists, they have developed a unique model for growing in grace. They join us to show us how to identify our current stage of faith and the next steps to take based on your unique needs and struggles.

David Robertson

David Robertson is the Director of Third Space- a new evangelism project from City Bible Forum. David works as an evangelist with Australian churches. As such he is involved with education, media, churches and various forms of outreach. as a speaker, writer and blogger. He was educated at the University of Edinburgh and the Free Church College. He served as the minister of Brora Free Church and St. Peters Free Church in Dundee, Scotland before moving to Australia and taking over his current position as the Director of Third Space.  David has written 6 books including Awakening – the life and ministry of Robert Murray McCheyne (Paternoster 2003 and Christian Focus 2010) and The Dawkins Letters – challenging atheist myths (Christian Focus Publications 2007) and A.S.K, an apologetic book for teenagers (June 2019) He is currently in the process of writing– Letter to a Post Christian Nation. He is a regular columnist with Christian Today and Evangelicals Now. He also write occasional articles for other publications – including Eternity magazine in Australia. He also has his own podcast.

Dr. Bill Gaultiere is a Psychologist and pastor/mentor to pastors. He writes and speaks to thousands of people every week through the Soul Shepherding website, blog, podcast, and Facebook page. He was personally mentored for many years by Dallas Willard and Ray Ortlund Sr. His recent book Your Best Life in Jesus’ Easy Yoke tells the story of his spiritual renewal from anxious living and burnout and introduces the message and way of Soul Shepherding. As a Spiritual Formation Pastor, he’s served in a mega-church and a church plant. He’s also trained over 1,000 lay counselors and taught courses in Christian psychology and spirituality at the graduate school level.

 

Dr. Kristie Gaultiere is a Psychotherapist and spiritual mentor to women pastors and pastors’ wives. She co-leads Soul Shepherding with Bill. She was personally mentored by Jane Willard and Dr. Jan Stoop. As a pastor’s wife, mother, and ministry professional, Kristi offers empathy and wisdom from her experience personally and as a therapist who has spent many thousands of hours caring for people. Kristi enjoys speaking, training, teaching, consulting, counseling, and retreat leading with Bill as well as recording their weekly “Soul Talks” podcast.
