Lawyer and award winning author, Wesley J. Smith, is a Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute’s Center on Human Exceptionalism. He is also a consultant to the Patients’ Rights Council. Smith left the full time practice of law in 1985 to pursue a career in writing and public advocacy. In May 2004, because of his work in bioethics, he was named by the National Journal as one of the nation's top expert thinkers in bioengineering. In 2008, the Human Life Foundation named him a Great Defender of Life for his work against assisted suicide and euthanasia. He is the author or coauthor of twelve books and blogs about human life and dignity at Human Exceptionalism, hosted by National Review Online.

Tom Doyle fell in love with the Middle East on his first Biblical tour of the Holy Land. In 1995, he became an official tour guide for the state of Israel and developed a passion for ministering to the Israeli people, Arabs and Jews alike. Tom felt called into full-time ministry there in 2001 and joined e3 Partners as the Middle Eastern branch director. Tom and his wife JoAnn began working in the heart of the Islamic world shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11. His ministry to pastors in this region has opened many valuable doors for him to build key relationships in places like Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Palestinian territories of Israel. In 2001, Tom became the Middle East Director for e3 Partners and then in 2017 launched a new ministry called Uncharted. Tom is a master storyteller with several books highlighting God’s miraculous work among the Muslim people. His best known books include Dreams and Visions (2012), Killing Christians (2015), and Standing in the Fire (2017).

Johnny Baker has been on staff at Celebrate Recovery since 2004 and has been the Pastor of Celebrate Recovery at Saddleback Church since 2012. As an adult child of an alcoholic who chose to become an alcoholic himself, Johnny is passionate about breaking the cycle of dysfunction in his family and helping other families find the tools that will lead to healing and openness. He knows that because of Jesus Christ, and by continuing to stay active in Celebrate Recovery, Maggie, Chloe, and Jimmy – his three children – will never see him drink. Johnny is a nationally recognized speaker, trainer, and teacher of Celebrate Recovery. He is a coauthor of the Celebrate Recovery Daily DevotionalCelebration Place, and The Landing, and is an associate editor of the Celebrate Recovery Study Bible. He has been married since 2000 to his wife Jeni, who serves alongside him in Celebrate Recovery.
