Michael Berry, Esq., is Senior Counsel & Director of Military Affairs for First Liberty Institute, where he focuses on cases involving religious liberty within the armed forces.
He joined First Liberty Institute in 2013 after serving for seven years as an attorney with the U.S. Marine Corps. From 2009 until 2013, Berry served as an appellate litigator, arguing numerous cases before various federal appeals courts. In 2008, Berry was selected for a high-profile combat deployment to Afghanistan with a Marine Corps infantry battalion. From 2009 – 2012, Berry served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the United States Naval Academy.
A recognized subject-matter expert on military religious freedom, Berry has testified before Congress on matters affecting religious liberty in the armed forces and routinely speaks audiences across the nation about military religious freedom.
Stephen Black has been the Executive Director of First Stone Ministries since 2000. Stephen has worked in full-time Christian ministry and in leadership with First Stone Ministries since 1993. He was ordained with International Ministerial Fellowship in October of 1994. Stephen is an author of many articles and teaching aids.
Stephen speaks on issues of sexual and relational brokenness. Stephen serves as Chairman on the board of directors for Restored Hope Network which was formed in June of 2012 to supply a biblically orthodox network of ministries to the sexually broken after the collapse and closure of Exodus International.
For years Robert’s career as a Grammy Award winning music executive and, by appearances, his family flourished. But what was brewing below the surface eventually claimed the intact family. Robert’s wife walked out leaving him to raise his three daughters on his own. Robert is now remarried and lives in Franklin with his daughters, 3 new stepsons.
