Samantha Lloyd spent a significant part of her life in Rochester Hills, MI. She is currently a Sophomore at Moody Bible Institute, majoring in Theology and learning to rightly divide the Word of God. Samantha is eager to reach people groups with the least access to the Gospel and Christian resources. She says, “The Bible is filled with the instruction that we need to go preach the gospel to those who haven’t heard. That is my passion and life goal - to be obedient to Christ, to live with Him forever, and to participate in His work.”
Tina Kramm is a 3rd-year Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student in the Moody Theological Seminary. She calls Budapest, Hungary home but was born in Serbia. Tina is also half Malagasy. Growing up in a multicultural home has made her passionate about working cross-culturally and with people from diverse backgrounds. Due to personal experience, she is also passionate about walking alongside refugees and asylum seekers as they heal from their traumatic experiences.
Johnathon Miller serves as Executive Pastor at Judson Baptist Church, overseeing the daily operations and ministries of the church. He also served as Judson’s youth pastor for several years. Johnathon was born and raised in northern Indiana. He fell in love with the city after graduating from Moody Bible Institute ('18) with a B.A. in Youth Ministry. This led to his vision for urban church ministry. Johnathon met his wife Hannah at Moody and they were married in 2018.
Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the Detroit metropolitan area. Chris served for 20 years as the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1,600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children: Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, Sophia, and Christyana.
