Alycia Wood holds an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Social Justice. She also graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics and spent two years as a Fellow with RZIM in New England. Alycia has addressed major issues surrounding faith to diverse audiences including university students at MIT, Harvard, University of Massachusetts, Boston University, Dartmouth College, and Brown University. She also speaks at retreats, conferences and men’s and women’s prisons. Alycia has traveled to countries such as Haiti, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica, volunteering at soup kitchens and orphanages as her passions for “showing Christ” extends beyond her local environment.
In her spare time, Alycia enjoys music and is a lover of all things football and hockey.
Chris Brooks is the Teaching Pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the metro-Detroit area. Chris served for 20 years as the Senior Pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a DMin degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, and Sophia.
