Cheryl Bachelder is a passionate, purpose-led business leader. She is the former CEO of Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. from 2007 to 2017 who transformed a tired brand and discouraged organization into a top-performing quick service restaurant chain. Today Cheryl’s aim is to help senior leaders understand and implement Dare to Serve leadership in for-profit and non-profit workplaces. Cheryl holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She and her husband Chris have been married over 36 years. They have three grown daughters, two terrific son-in-laws, and two handsome grandsons.
Chris Brooks is the Teaching Pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the metro-Detroit area. Chris served for 20 years as the Senior Pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a DMin degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, and Sophia.
