We welcome Moody Bible Institite 10th president, Dr. Mark Jobe and hear his vision for what God can do through this place!
Too many men are bound by the trauma and pain of their past and fall victim to negative emotions. Jason Wilson has spent decades strengthening the physical, mental and emotional spirit of young men. He will show us how to fight for freedom from emotional incarceration and be men of God who long to be more like Him.
Dr. Mark Jobe is the 10th President of Moody Bible Institute. He is also an author, radio host, pastor, and social entrepreneur in the city of Chicago. He is founding pastor of New Life Community Church, which has grown from a handful to several thousand people currently meeting at over 20 locations throughout Chicagoland. He holds a masters degree from Moody Theological Seminary and a doctorate from Bakke Graduate University.
Jason Wilson is the founder and head instructor of the Cave of Adullam Transformational Training Academy (CATTA) designed to teach, train and transform boys before the world does. Since 2007, boys and young men have been tested in key life and biblical principles, and are challenged emotionally and physically through martial arts training to apply these principles. The results are not only internalized but also externalized in their day to day lives. His award winning work in the lives of youth through his faith based organizations has been recognized from Metro-Detroit to the President’s office in Washington D.C.
Chris Brooks is the Senior Pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the metro-Detroit area. Chris served for 20 years as the Senior Pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a DMin degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of 5 children, Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, and Sophia.
