Do you tend to ignore the headlines to avoid the bad news? We live in a hurting world but we do not need to bury our heads in our hands and walk away. Pastor Jim Denison keeps our focus on the eternity when he joins Chris to discuss a victory for religious freedom and to shine the light of Biblical hope on the suicides of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain. There is always a way forward when we know that God is in control!
Dr. Jim Denison bridges faith and culture by engaging contemporary issues with Biblical truth. He co-founded the Denison Forum in February 2009. Since that time, he has spoken to over 100,000 people on five continents. He is the author of eight books, including his most recent, The State of Our Nation: 7 Critical Issues. Dr. Denison also serves as Resident Scholar for Ethics with Baylor Scott & White Health, Senior Fellow for Global Studies at Dallas Baptist University, and Senior Fellow with the 21st Century Wilberforce Initiative in Washington, D.C. His daily column is freely distributed to more than 110,000 subscribers in over 200 countries.
