Raised in San Antonio, TX, Andrew Aramouni is a 22-year-old Junior Urban Ministries major at MBI. He is active in his churches in Chicago and at home in San Antonio. Andrew has a heart for the poor, needy and oppressed which prompted him to begin a homeless ministry with a friend when he was just 17 years old. His family has also been heavily involved in a refugee ministry for over 10 years. He plans to continue working with both ministries in the future. In his spare time, you can find Andrew traveling, drinking coffee with friends, and exploring the city.
Emily Bill was raised in a Christian home and lived in Mexico for three years while her parents were missionaries. She is a graduate of Moody and has served as a missionary in the Dominican Republic. She currently works for Awana, an international outreach and discipleship ministry for children. She’s involved in a church in the western suburbs of Chicago where she serves in the student ministry. She is engaged to Matt and will be getting married in a little over a month.
Raised in Florida, Courtney Holliday is a rising senior studying Urban Ministry at MBI. She is active on the Moody volleyball team and has participated in Word of Life Florida Youth Camp ministry as a camp counselor and Unit Leader for the last two summers. She is also heavily involved with GRIP the School ministries here in Chicago as a mentor for high school girls. While her plans for the future are still taking shape, Courtney would like to continue with Moody and pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. In her free time, you can find her reading or writing poetry, playing volleyball or catching up on Netflix favorites.
Ryan Smith isan alumni of Indiana University Bloomington with a B.A. in apparel merchandising. He is the owner of a not for profit clothing line that he started at age 18. After almost losing his life because of an overdose on drugs, Ryan came to Christ and is currently a graduate student at Moody Theological Seminary, pursuing an MA in Ministry Leadership in preparation for future ministry as an evangelist. He also works in Marketing at Moody Radio. He and his fiancé, Amanda, are involved in a church in Northwest Indiana and will be getting married in July.
Chris Brooks is the Teaching Pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the metro-Detroit area. Chris served for 20 years as the Senior Pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a DMin degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, and Sophia.
