Leaning on Christ amidst Coronavirus Pandemic

The Novel Coronavirus has stopped much of the world in its tracks. Economies, shut down. People, staying at home. Family celebrations, on hold. Hospitals filled with this people suffering from this virus that's captured global attention. So where is God in all of this? John Piper talks with Ed Stetzer about how God is using this moment in history to accomplish his wise and good purposes for those who put their trust in Him.

John Piper

John Piper is the founder of Desiring God, where he serves today as lead teacher. John was Senior Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis where he ministered for 33 years. He was a student at Wheaton College and received his Bachelor in Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary. John did his doctoral work in New Testament Studies at the University of Munich in West Germany. He taught biblical studies at Bethel College in St. Paul for six years. John has written many books, including his latest, "Coronavirus and Christ", very timely today.

Ed has earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates, and has written or co-written a dozen books and hundreds of articles. Now he ministers as interim pastor of The Moody Church, teaches at Wheaton College, and serves as executive director of the Billy Graham Center and a regional director of Lausanne North America. Ed and his wife, Donna, have been married more than 25 years and have three daughters.
