Reaching Europe
When we talk about missions, people often envision being sent out to an undeveloped land to share the gospel to people who've never even heard of Jesus. But surprisingly, there's a real call for mission work in big metropolitan European cities as well. Greater Europe Mission is answering that call. GEM's President Jon Burns talks with Ed Stetzer about his outreach to Europe and how we can help too.

Jon Burns is President and CEO of Greater Europe Mission. Before joining GEM, Jon founded Lionsraw, an organization that mobilizes soccer passion for social change. He is also a gifted speaker, evangelist, and disciple-maker. Jon is married to Sandra and they have daughters, Rosie and Emmie.

Ed Stetzer
Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is Dean of the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches; trained pastors and church planters on six continents; earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates; and he has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America, is the Editor-in-Chief of Outreach Magazine, and regularly writes for news outlets such as USA Today and CNN. He serves at his local church, Highpoint Church, as a teaching pastor. Ed and his wife Donna have been married for more than 35 years and are the parents of three daughters.
