Dr. Larry Crabb has authored over 25 books and is the founder of NewWay Ministries and co-founder of Larger Story. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and has been a Distinguished Scholar in Residence at Colorado Christian University since 1996. He has been married to his middle school sweetheart, Rachael, for over 50 years. They have two amazing sons, two beloved daughters-in-law, and five delightful grandchildren. Larry Crabb passed away on February 28, 2021.

She is the mother of nine children, co-host of Building Relationships with Dr. Gary Chapman (with her husband, Chris) and former co-host of Midday Connection.

Jim is in private practice in Matthews, N.C., and is a group leader for Onsite Workshops near Nashville, Tenn. He is also a national conference speaker with The American Association of Christian Counselors. As a 34 year veteran broadcaster and radio talk show host, Jim is currently the host of his own radio program called, “Conversations of Life.” He has been married to his wife Jessica since 1985, and has two adult sons, an adult daughter, and daughter-in-law. Jim and Jessica are also proud grandparents to Lincoln James.
Dr. Dan B. Allender (Ph.D., Michigan State University) is a pioneer of a unique and innovative approach to trauma and abuse therapy. He and a cadre of others founded The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in 1997, of which Dan served as president from 2002-2009. In 2011, he founded The Allender Center with his wife Becky and Cathy Loerzel. He is currently Professor of Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School, traveling and speaking extensively to present on trauma, sexual abuse recovery, love and forgiveness, intimacy, and related topics. He’s a popular podcaster with over a million listeners on The Allender Center podcast and the author of numerous books, including The Wounded Heart. He and his wife, Becky, live on Bainbridge Island,where they enjoy time with their grandchildren and their three adult children.
Kep Crabb is the oldest son of author and psychologist Dr. Larry Crabb. He is also the founder of Larger Story, an organization established to offer Dr. Crabb’s materials and teachings, along with those of others, on what it means to live in God’s Larger Story as we go through life in our smaller stories.
