We serve a God of redemption who is always ready to welcome us when we turn to Him. No matter how badly we hurt Him, if we repent and ask for His forgiveness, He doesn’t cancel us or shut us out! I’ll share some more thoughts about the amazing love of God in today’s encouragement below.
During the Equipper webinar, I shared the following Equipped interviews and books that you may want to review as you walk the road of recovery from church hurt:
Anne Graham Lotz, Wounded by God’s People, 7/31/18
Scot McKnight, A Church Called Tov, 6/11/21
Lina AbuJamra, Fractured Faith, 9/14/21
Wendy Alsup, I Forgive You, 1/18/22
Redeeming Power by Diane Langberg
Church Hurt by Jerome Gay Jr.
When Narcissism Comes to Church by Chuck DeGroat
What Is a Girl Worth? by Rachael Denhollander
This month’s Impact Gift: The 4 Habits of Joy-Filled People by Marcus Warner and Chris Coursey. Call 888-644-4144 for your copy!
