As Christmas draws near at the end of the week, I’m sure there are some people out there who still have a million things to do … as they hear believers proclaim that Jesus is the “Prince of Peace,” they might be wondering why they aren’t feeling it so much. If Jesus is the “Prince of Peace,” why aren’t His followers in a constant state of satisfaction … feeling no distress? Pastor Mark Jobe says that we have to fight for our peace … because this world stresses us out! And being stressed out has become a way of life for so many. But … peace is a fruit of the Spirit and living with constant stress or distress is not living in the will of God. Today’s Bold Steps message from Philippians 4 and is called, There is Peace for the Distressed.
