Discouragement, pain, and bitterness … these are common distractions the Bible says we need to throw off … in order to run the race of life. Sounds simple, but how do we do actually do that? That’s the question Pastor Mark Jobe will answer today as we move forward in our study of Hebrews chapter 12. We’ll be encouraged to identify the burdens in our lives that slow us down on this edition of Bold Steps.
Mark Jobe serves as president of Moody Bible Institute and host of Moody Radio's Bold Steps. He is the author of Unstuck: Out of Your Cave into Your Call (Moody Publishers). He is also the founding pastor of New Life Community Church, a Chicago-based ministry with 27 locations throughout Chicago.
