Throughout this entire season, we've addressed quite a few key issues to keep in mind as you enter the voting booth. As we approach voting day, today's special guest will give us a good reminder for us on how to vote justly with our Biblical Lens. Join us one more time as we talk with Jenny Yang on Just Gospel.

 

Guest: Jenny Yang

Jenny Yang is the Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Policy at World Relief where she provides oversight for all advocacy initiatives and policy positions for the organization and leads the organization’s public relations efforts. In this position, she coordinates and leads the marketing, programs, and strategic engagement division teams on media relations, public engagement and brand elevation strategies. She also represents the organization’s advocacy priorities to the U.S. government and leads mobilization efforts for churches on advocacy campaignsShe has worked over a decade in refugee protection, immigration policy, and human rights and was on an active deployment roster for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Previous to World Relief, she worked at one of the largest political consulting companies in Maryland. Jenny is co-author of several titles and contributing author to three other books. Jenny was named one of the “50 Women to Watch” by Christianity Today.

Craig Hendrickson

As co-host of the Just Gospel Podcast, Dr. Craig Hendrickson brings a great deal of ministry, teaching, and research experience in the areas of multiethnic and cross-cultural ministry. Before joining the faculty at Moody four years ago, Dr. Hendrickson served for sixteen years as a pastor, urban missionary, and campus minister in various multiethnic and cross-cultural environments. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Missional Leadership at MBI, and holds a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Seminary.

Ernest Gray

Ernest Gray Jr. is the pastor of Keystone Baptist Church located in the West Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. He is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Pastoral Ministries, and a graduate of Wheaton College with a Master’s Degree in Biblical Exegesis. He is working to finish his PhD coursework at McMaster Divinity College and has taught in the undergraduate school of Moody in the areas of Hermeneutics, first-year Greek Grammar, General Epistles, the Gospel of John, and Senior Seminar. It is Rev. Gray’s hope to impact the African American church through scholarship. Teaching has been one way that God has blessed him to live this out.
