Vinegar Boy

A young boy, abandoned by his parents because of a ghastly facial birthmark, is taken in by Roman Soldiers. He earns his keep in the commissary by supplying vinegar wine to condemned prisoners at Crucifixion Hill. He learns of a man called Christ, the healer, and seeks to find this miracle worker to remove his birthmark. Vinegar Boy's long awaited encounter with Christ turns disastrous when the young man discovers the Healer staggering up toward Crucifixion Hill, Himself a condemned "criminal." Thus begins Vinegar Boy's odyssey with the Christ of the Cross. A professional cast and original music makes this an Easter special not to be missed! This is a Moody Radio classic production.

His Final Hours

His Final Hours is a cutting edge documentary with a timeline perspective on the events of the Passion Week. Compelling drama segments mix with interviews from notables like Chuck Swindoll, Lee Strobel, Lois Evans, and Tim LaHaye. Dr. Walt Larimore offers a profound look at the medical aspects of Christ's sufferings, while MBI professor Michael Rydelnik underscores the significance of Passover as a backdrop for Christ's final hours. A compelling music score and stereo soundscapes recorded in the holy land all paint an unforgettable picture of His Final Hours.

Secrets from the Garden

For many Christians, Gethsemane is a brief rest stop on the way to the main story — the cross. But there are critical questions that demand explanation. What is the real truth about Jesus sweating “as it were drops of blood?” When Jesus prayed, “Not my will but thine be done” exactly what did He want us to learn? The answers to these questions and more are revealed through interviews and sounds from Israel, combined with dramatic vignettes and original music score to paint a dramatic Easter landscape in this special from Moody Radio.

Easter in The Land and the Book

The production team from Moody Radio's The Land and the Book with Dr. Charlie Dyer offers an Easter-themed edition. Listen in on an interview with the keeper of the garden tomb, a Q&A time about the believability of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and take a look at how people celebrate Easter in Israel. Finally, Dr. Dyer shares a devotional called “The Road to Calvary,” for reflection on the meaning behind the Good Friday and Easter.

Ultimate Miracle – Jesus and the Death of Death

Consider the carpenter's son. In a society steeped in orthodoxy, He is decidedly unorthodox. Jesus dazzles but makes no attempt at dazzling others:
- The deaf hear.
- The blind see.
- The lame walk.
Then comes the greatest miracle of all: the death of death itself. Ultimate Miracle relives the impossible-made-possible. Through painstaking research, creative drama sketches and expert commentary, listeners are transported to the actual Holy Land sites where many of Christ's miracles occurred. Pristine stereo on-location recordings layered with a custom music score immerse listeners in a gripping audio experience, which concludes with a stunning defense of the resurrection of Christ.

In Celebration of the Risen King

You know the story of Easter … but what about the songs of Easter? In Celebration of the Risen King, you’ll visit with Bill and Gloria Gaither and learn the story behind the story of Because He Lives. Plus, we’ll invite you in on conversations with Michael Card, Steve Green, and Larnelle Harris and how their travels through Israel inspired their thoughts about Easter. Then, we’ll wrap up with modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty as they take you inside their music making. It’s the story of Easter … through the music of Easter.
