About Moody Radio Florida

In 1977, Moody Bible Institute received an amazing gift: a Florida radio station! Before becoming a part of Moody Radio’s nation-wide family of stations, WKES had been privately owned since it first came on the air in 1961. By 2003, three other stations began simulcasting WKES’ programming, allowing the station to reach its current potential audience of 6 million listeners from Ocala to Naples and from St. Petersburg to Orlando.

We’re dedicated to serving our Florida community with encouraging Christian music, biblical teaching from nationally known pastors and leaders, and compelling talk programs that are just waiting for your call. Every Monday through Friday from 6-9:00 a.m., Kurt and Kate Mornings starts your day with music, hope, inspiring guests, and lots of laughter.
