7.4.09 - Talking It Over

Air Date July 4, 2009

Summary

Hour 1
Happy birthday, America! David Barton, president and founder of WallBuilders, joins us as we celebrate our nation's declaration of independence. For the first hour, we will focus on the faith of our Founding Fathers. Who were they? What did they really believe? Were Christian principles the foundation for the establishment of our government? Using their own words, David shares with us the indisputable fact that Christianity was the footing for American government.

Hour 2
We continue our discussion with David as we move to the subject of Christians and their responsibility to earthly government. Should we vote? What issues are paramount for the believer? Does our faith play a role in the furtherance of our nation? Join us as we look at the intersection of faith and politics.
