Air Date October 24, 2014
If God is sovereign, then why should we bother praying? Don Sunukjian explains how tuning our hearts to God's heart gives us insight to pray for the impossible.
Don Sunukjian is professor of preaching at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, Calif. Prior to joining Talbot, he served 14 years as the senior pastor of churches in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Austin, Texas, while teaching for 10 years at Dallas Theological Seminary. With doctorate degrees in theology and communication, he brings both scholarship and experience to his classroom. Don has written for both biblical commentaries and preaching books, and is the author of Invitation to Biblical Preaching, a major homiletic textbook. For the past six years, in addition to his ministry at Talbot, he’s also been the pastor of the Armenian Christian Fellowship in Orange County.
