Trail of Two Kings
One king was desperate to secure his own place in history. The other was consumed with eternity—ours. One king ruled from indescribable opulence. The other conceded he had no place to rest his head. In an unforgettable hour long special, Moody Radio takes you to Israel on The Trail of Two Kings. You’ll visit four of Herod the Great’s personal palaces and come face to face with this maniacal king who killed his wife, his children and anyone else who posed a threat to his throne, including the baby boys of Bethlehem. On location interviews and sounds mix with an original music score to tell the Christmas story from a decidedly sobering perspective—Herod’s.

Thanksgiving on Moody Radio
The Crossing: A Cabin Boy's Journal When Captain Christopher Jones offers Patrick Blythe, an orphaned 14-year-old, the job of cabin boy on the Mayflower, Patrick jumps at the chance. Like most of the crew, Patrick is irreligious and derisive toward the pilgrims. During the Atlantic crossing, Patrick becomes ill and passengers like William and Mary Brewster minister to him, impressing him with their kindness. Patrick finds himself pulled in two directions—toward the God of the pilgrims and toward the relative safety of his coarse companions. His struggle is the framework for a fresh retelling of the Pilgrim story.

Remembering Pilgrims Moody Radio brings back the innovative Thanksgiving special "Remembering Pilgrims." This 55-minute special takes listeners on location to Plymouth, Massachusetts. Unique stereo recordings capture the sounds of the water where Pilgrims first landed, the creaks and groans of the Mayflower II (a full-scale replica of the Pilgrims' ship). A colorful palate of engaging interviews, authentic hymns from the era and dramatic vignettes all paint a picture of American history that is profoundly moving and distinctively Christian.
