Paul Nyquist is the ninth president of Moody Bible Institute. Nyquist came to Moody from Avant Ministries, where he also served as president. Before joining Avant, Nyquist served as senior pastor at First Federated Church in Des Moines, Iowa, and Evangelical Bible Church in Omaha, Neb. He received a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1981 and a Ph.D. in systematic theology in 1984.
