About Moody Presents

Moody Presents is a weekly 26-minute teaching program hosted by Jon Gauger and featuring the teaching of Moody Bible Institute President Dr. Paul Nyquist. This Sunday program also regularly features music by the four student ensembles of Moody Bible Institute, along with student and alumni testimonies.

Featured Speaker

Dr. Paul Nyquist is the featured speaker on Moody Presents. He has served as the president of Moody Bible Institute since June 2009. Prior to coming to Moody he was president and CEO of Avant Ministries for eight years. Before joining Avant, he served as senior pastor at First Federated Church in Des Moines, Iowa from 1996 to 2001, and Evangelical Bible Church in Omaha, Neb. from 1983 to 1996. He and his wife, Cheryl, have been married for more than 27 years and are the parents of four grown children, Natalie, Taylor, Carson and Sawyer. Two of their sons are currently students at Moody, and their daughter is an alumna from the class of 2005.

Host

Jon Gauger has been with Moody Radio nearly three decades and works with special projects. In addition to being the announcer for Dr. Paul Nyquist's weekly teaching program, Moody Presents, Jon is hosting and producing The Land and the Book. He writes and produces a weekly commentary, creates special documentaries, and has traveled to 30 countries covering stories for Moody Radio, or doing training work with international broadcasting partners. Jon is married to Diana, and they have two grown children-all of whom are Moody graduates. An avid photographer, videographer and reader, Jon also enjoys camping and freelance voice-over work, including audiobook projects.
