Kerby Anderson

Kerby Anderson is the national director of Probe Ministries and a lecturer on university campuses around the country. Anderson hosts Point of View on the USA Radio Network and has been a guest host of Moody Radio’s Open Line. He has addressed the International Congress on the Bible, the Ligonier Conference, and the American Scientific Affiliation. His editorials have appeared in several newspapers and he is the author of Christian Ethics in Plain Language. Anderson and his wife, Susanne Pardey, have been married since 1974, and have three children.

Mindy Belz

Mindy Belz is editor of WORLD magazine. Belz became editor of WORLD in 2004, after 10 years as its international editor. She has written for WORLD since its inception in 1986, and has reported from Russia and its former republics, from Bosnia, China, central Asia, the Middle East and Africa, as well as covering stories closer to home. Mindy is married and is the mother of four children.

Harold Best

Harold Best is emeritus professor of music and dean emeritus of the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, Illinois. He is past president of the National Association of Schools of Music and past chairman of the Commission on Accreditation. He is the author of numerous articles on the relationship of Christianity to the fine arts, issues in arts education, and curriculum, and wrote the book Music Through the Eyes of Faith. Best is a national lecturer, consultant and workshop leader.

Amy Black

Amy Black is associate professor of Politics and International Relations at Wheaton College. Black served as an American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow, working in the office of Rep. Melissa A. Hart during the 2000-2001 academic year. Her book From Inspiration to Legislation: How an Idea Becomes A Bill, draws upon her experiences on Capitol Hill, following the story of how one legislator's idea became a bill, and offers readers insight into the daily work of a Congressional office and the development of legislation. Black is married to Wheaton College professor Dr. Daniel Treier.

Donald Cole

Donald Cole is the former radio pastor of the Moody Bible Institute and host of Open Line. Cole and his wife, Naomi, served the Lord as missionaries in Angola from 1948 to 1966. Cole then served as a faculty member of Emmaus Bible College of Dubuque (at that time in Oak Park, Illinois) and as editor of Interest magazine, published by Stewards Foundation, at that time in Wheaton, Illinois.

Rosalie de Rosset

Rosalie de Rosset is a professor of Communications at Moody Bible Institute. de Rosset is general editor for the Moody Publishers classics reissues series and is co-host of the on-air Midday Connection book club. de Rosset has been speaking to churches, adult Sunday school classes, book clubs, writers’ conferences and radio audiences for 25 years. She has an MA in English from Northeastern Illinois State University, an MDIV from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a PhD in English from University of Illinois at Chicago.

Jimmy DeYoung

Jimmy DeYoung is the president of Shofar Communications. DeYoung lived and worked in Jerusalem for 12 years. As a journalist, he interviewed Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, former Defense Minister Moshe Arens, Jordan's Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher, and the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, among others. DeYoung can be seen on the Day of Discovery television program, produced in the Middle East. His reports, on more than 800 radio stations, are a unique blend of political, biblical, and prophetic insight to the news from the Middle East.

Charles Dyer

Charles Dyer is an Old Testament scholar as well as an authority on Middle Eastern history and geography. A licensed tour guide to Israel, he has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East over the past 25 years, leading over 70 different trips throughout the region. Dyer is the author of The Rise of Babylon and A Christian Traveler's Guide to the Holy Land. Dyer serves as the provost and vice president of Education at the Moody Bible Institute. Previously he served for 20 years at Dallas Theological Seminary—ultimately becoming executive vice president. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Schererville, Indiana and have two children.

Jon Gauger

Jon Gauger is senior producer of special projects for Moody Radio and has been with Moody Radio for 22 years. Gauger is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and received his broadcasting degree from Columbia College Chicago. Gauger and wife, Diana, have two adult children.

Ken Frenke

Ken Frenke is the founder and president of Kenneth Frenke & Co. He is a founding board member of the Christian Financial Professionals Network and writes an economic column for their quarterly newsletter. Frenke is a speaker and writer and has presented the biblical principles of finances on the radio since 1986. He is the financial analyst for SRN News and a founding board member and past chairman of Kingdom Advisors. Ken and his wife, Pat, reside on a small mountainside in North Carolina, are members of Arden Presbyterian Church, and have several children and grandchildren.

David Gibbs III

David Gibbs III is a Christian Law Association attorney with the Gibbs Law Firm, based in Florida. Gibbs received his law degree from Duke University. His radio program, The Legal Alert, is heard on more than 1,000 stations daily, and he is a frequent spokesperson on major news and talk shows, including Larry King Live, Fox & Friends, Hannity & Colmes, The Michael Reagan Show, and Face the Nation. Gibbs is the author of Fighting for Dear Life, which tells the untold story of Terri Schiavo’s fight to live. Gibbs, his wife, and their children make their home in Florida.

Steve Hewitt

Steve Hewitt is founder and editor-in-chief of Christian Computing Magazine. In 1977—right out of college and while pastoring his first church—Hewitt purchased a small computer to assist his ministry. Several years later, the Lord led him to create Christian Computing and the first issue was published in January of 1989. Hewitt has been interviewed in the National Religious Broadcaster magazine and the Wall Street Journal (about his work in dispelling the myths about the damage of Y2K) and has also appeared on television interviews with CBN News, Main Street, and Coral Ridge Hour.

Jamie Janosz

Jamie Janosz is the chair and associate professor of Communications at Moody Bible Institute. She has her diploma from Moody Bible Institute, a BA from Columbia College Chicago, and a master’s degree in writing from Illinois State University. Janosz served as creative director and senior editor of Today in the Word for seven years and is currently a contributing writer for the monthly devotional. She lives in northwest Indiana, with her husband, Milt, and daughter, Sabrina.

John Koessler

John Koessler is the chair and professor of Pastoral Studies at Moody Bible Institute. Koessler has been a member of Moody's faculty since 1994. He is the author of several books including A Stranger in the House of God, True Discipleship: The Art of Following Jesus, God Our Father, Names of Israel, and Names of the Believers. Koessler has written numerous articles and is the author of several chapters in the Zondervan release, The Art and Craft of Biblical Preaching, and also served as general editor of The Moody Handbook of Preaching.

Bryan Litfin

Bryan Litfin is an associate professor of Theology at Moody Bible Institute. Litfin is the author of Getting to Know the Church Fathers: An Evangelical Introduction, as well as a chapter in the Moody Publishers release, Proclaiming Jesus: Essays on the Centrality of Christ in the Church in Honor of Joseph M. Stowell. Litfin received his master’s degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and his PhD from the University of Virginia.

Erwin Lutzer

Erwin Lutzer has been senior pastor of The Moody Church since 1980. He is an award-winning author of more than 20 books, including One Minute After You Die, Where Was God? and When You’ve Been Wronged. Bob Maginnis

Bob Maginnis is the national security and foreign affairs analyst for Moody Radio and Salem Radio Network, and is a regular guest on several other radio and television networks. Lieutenant Colonel Robert (Bob) Maginnis, U.S. Army (retired) served as a Fox News military analyst from 2002 to 2003. He is a senior strategist with BCP International Limited, and the executive director for Checks for Heroes, a non-profit organization that capitalizes programs that help families of those killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Carl Moeller

Carl Moeller is the president and CEO of Open Doors USA. He is a dedicated advocate for the millions of Christians around the globe who are denied religious freedom and basic human rights. He travels to the world’s most oppressive regimes meeting with and encouraging Christians who live in the shadows of discrimination, imprisonment and even death for their faith. Here in the U.S., Moeller is a passionate spokesperson focused on raising awareness of the plight of those who are persecuted for their religious beliefs. Moeller’s mission is to mobilize U.S. Christians to pray, encourage and advocate on behalf of suffering believers.

Samuel Naaman

Samuel Naaman is a professor of World Missions and Evangelism at Moody Bible Institute. Naaman was born in Pakistan and served there with Operation Mobilization and Operation Christmas Child. He continues his contact with the Hindu and Muslim community through his involvement in the South Asian Friendship Center in Chicago. Naaman teaches in the areas of Muslim studies, missions, and discipleship.

Todd Nettleton is the director of Media Development for The Voice of the Martyrs, working with the media to tell the stories of persecuted Christians to people in the United States. In his role with VOM, he has met with Christians who face persecution in many countries, including Sudan, China, Egypt, Turkey, Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar (Burma) and Azerbaijan. He's also been a part of the writing team for VOM in the writing of Extreme Devotion and Hearts of Fire.

Betsey Newenhuyse

Betsey Newenhuyse is the editorial director at Moody Publishers, as well as acquisitions editor for their Family, Lifestyle & Relationships line. Newenhuyse is an award-winning author of eight books and a sought-after speaker at writers’ conferences and women’s groups across the country. She was a founding editor for Marriage Partnership magazine and has also served as managing editor of Moody magazine. Newenhuyse received the Silver Angel Award for her book, Sometimes I Feel Like Running Away From Home. Newenhuyse and her husband, Fritz, have an adult daughter, Amanda.

Ted Olsen

Ted Olsen is the news director and online managing editor for Christianity Today. He has been writing the magazine's online Weblog—a collection of news and opinion articles from mainstream news sources around the world—since 1999. In 2004, the paper version of the magazine launched “Weblog in Print,” which looks for unexpected connections and trends in articles appearing in the mainstream press. The column was renamed "Tidings" in mid-2006 and now runs monthly. Olsen was previously assistant editor for Christian History magazine. He is the author of Christianity and the Celts.

Ethan Pope

Ethan Pope is the founder and president of Foundations for Living. He spent ten years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ and is a 1988 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. Since 1985, Pope has traveled across the nation speaking at conferences, seminars and in churches. Pope became a certified financial planner in 1990 for the sole purpose of gaining additional financial expertise. His book Identity Theft: Protecting Yourself From an Unprotected World was released with Moody Publishers in May 2006. Ethan and his wife, Janet, live in Dallas, Texas and have two children in college.

Michael Rydelnik

Michael Rydelnik is professor of Jewish Studies at Moody Bible Institute. Rydelnik is the author of They Called Me Christ-Killer! and Understanding the Arab-Israeli Conflict: What the Headlines Haven't Told You. He is also the author of two forthcoming titles: My Search for the Messiah and The Messianic Hope: Is the Hebrew Bible Messianic? Rydelnik recieved a master's degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and his Missiology doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Colin Smith

Colin Smith is senior pastor of the Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Smith is committed to preaching the Bible in a way that nourishes the soul by directing attention to Jesus Christ. Before coming to the United States in 1996, he served as the senior pastor of the Enfield Evangelical Free Church in London for 16 years. While in London, Smith was very active in the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches in England and even served as president. He trained at London School of Theology, where he met his wife, Karen. The Smiths have two sons, Andrew and David.

David Stevens

David Stevens is board certified as a physician in family practice. In Somalia, Stevens led an emergency medical mission that treated 45,000 in the midst of war. In the Sudan, medical teams under his leadership treated over 25,000 villagers to stop the spread of an epidemic. From 1985 to 1991, Stevens served as executive officer and medical superintendent of Tenwek Hospital in Bomet, Kenya. Stevens has conducted hundreds of media interviews on the topics of stem cell research, cloning, and physician-assisted suicide, including NBC Nightly News, BBC-World Television, and Newsweek.
