Chris Fabry Live! - The First Thanksgiving // Black Friday

Air Date November 21, 2012

Summary

Hour 1 - The First Thanksgiving

The chair of the history department at Wheaton College, Dr. Tracy McKenzie, tells us the real story of that First Thanksgiving. What are the things we’ve romanticized about the day? How did we get from the pilgrims to our current feast? And what are the Christian or religious implications of the day? Learn about the First Thanksgiving on Wednesday.

Hour 2 - Black Friday

America’s Family Financial Expert Ellie Kay talks about those Black Friday sales. Ellie is the consummate shopper, but I have a feeling she’s going to tell us you can sleep in because some of those sales are not what they’re cracked up to be.
