David Platt serves as senior pastor at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Ala. Deeply devoted to Christ and His Word, David's first love in ministry is making disciples and sharing the Christian faith. With degrees from the University of Georgia and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, David has served at the seminary as dean of chapel and assistant professor of Expository Preaching and Apologetics, as well as staff evangelist at Edgewater Baptist Church in New Orleans.

James Dobson
James C. Dobson, Ph.D., is founder of Focus on the Family and the host of the radio program Family Talk with Dr. James Dobson. He is the author of numerous best-selling books dedicated to the preservation of the family, including The New Dare to Discipline, When God Doesn’t Make Sense, and Bringing Up Boys. A licensed psychologist and a marriage, family, and child counselor, he served on the faculty of the University of Southern California School of Medicine for 14 years and on the attending staff of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles for 17 years. He holds a Ph.D. in child development from the University of Southern California. Dr. Dobson is married to Shirley and they have two grown children and one grandchild. The Dobsons reside in Colorado Springs.
