Americans will soon learn the Supreme Court decisions on
same-sex marriage. Until then, there are
many interesting questions surrounding the very nature of marriage.
Is it merely a convenient utility—a way for couples to
qualify for benefits previously available to only married people or is it a holy covenant ordained by God? As
believers, we know the answer to that question, but on this week’s Law Talk
Live, we will discuss some of the unanswered legal questions about this social,
legal development.
Got a question you’ve been wondering about? Listen in, tune in to Law Talk Live with
Attorney David Gibbs. [>}

Few moments in life can compare to the
joy of the first time a young couple sees their new baby on an ultrasound. It
is nothing short of a miracle and a testimony of our powerful God.
Yet there is also joy in holding the wrinkled hand of a senior citizen who is
slowing down, physically and mentally. That same blood of life that flowed
through the unborn baby flows through the veins of the elderly, the handicapped and the infirm.
A respect for life is foundational to our faith and
to our freedom in America. Listen this week as Attorney David Gibbs celebrates and advocates for life. Law Talk
Live stands for life!

Pastor Smith went to seminary with great
anticipation of proclaiming the Word of God to an eager flock. That dream has
been fulfilled, but the business end of the pastorate has come as a surprise.
He finds his office hours increasingly taken up with legal issues, from bylaws
to baby safety in the nursery.
Running a church is indeed running a
business. In addition to legal and financial issues, Pastors also face social
issues for which there is little guidance.
This Saturday on Law Talk
Live, Attorney David Gibbs takes your calls and answers your legal questions about pastors and churches. Give your pastor a call and invite him to listen in this week on Law Talk Live.

Last week churches across America paused to remember the millions of babies aborted because of the Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade. The right to an abortion remains the law of the land with government funds going to pay for many of them.
Whether it is referred to as “a choice” or the euphemistic “women’s health” issue, abortion remains the unjust killing of another human being.
What does the future hold? Listen this week to Law Talk Live as Attorney David Gibbs discusses this vital life issue.
