Chicago Harvest

Chicago Harvest – A Story of Unity

"Chicago Harvest – A Story of Unity” tells the story of how a desire to see true unity in the Church sparked a movement within the churches of Chicagoland. With community-wide prayer gatherings, 200 plus churches involved, pulpit swaps and a crusade taking place, Moody Radio’s Roy Patterson serves as host and uncovers how this event emerged and how it’s bringing churches together.

Featured pastors on the special broadcast include Mark Jobe, New Life Community Church; Erwin Lutzer, The Moody Church; and James MacDonald, Harvest Bible Chapel, among others. This is more than a local or even regional event. Listen to the story of unity among the body of Christ. It can serve as an example for other communities across our nation.

The Gettys released their project, Awaken the Dawn last fall. The broadcast event features much of Keith and Kristyn Getty's new collection of hymns and songs from that project. With a distinctly Irish flavor and shaped as a service of worship, this album takes you on a lyrical journey of grace and hope for all the nations. SM Icon - Specials - Dads in Hard Times

Dads In Hard Times

This Father’s Day, many dads feel like they’ve been beaten up by life. Their finances are stretched by the faltering economy, relationships have been strained to the breaking point and spiritually they’re in a dry and dusty place.

Moody Radio and Chris Fabry Live! present a special broadcast, Dads in Hard Times. You will hear stories from three men who have walked difficult roads over the years. These men have struggled to emerge from unexpected chasms that open in life. Through the rubble of their lives, they contend that life situations don’t have to stop you in your tracks. In fact, God can use the struggle and problems you face to draw you closer to Himself and those you love. If you’re going through difficult days, don’t miss Dads in Hard Times.

Heroic Motherhood

Heroic Motherhood

“Heroic” is often used to describe soldiers or public servants who have risked their lives to save another’s, but it can also be an apt description for mothers. During Heroic Motherhood, our tribute to Mother’s Day, we’ll follow the stories of three moms. Gail MacDonald’s story is one of a woman in the seventh decade of her life. No children remain in her once overflowing home. Recording Artist Kim Hill will talk about the difficulties of being a single mother through her experience of raising two sons. Janet Davis will speak as a mom who has walked the lonely road of having a child diagnosed with a serious illness. Listen and be encouraged by mothers who have been through metaphoric trenches and have come out victorious.
